    Nothing much to write, everything was average - starting from the ambience, to the service, and the food...everything was just OK. Not a "must visit", but if the craving is for Bengali cuisine, then Oh! Calcutta is a much better bet any day!

    This is the 'only' place where I used to go when I moved to Bangalore to get really good and authentic bengali food. And after 6 years, I still visit regularly with so many other options available now a days. However, the standard of the food has dropped a bit and the classic 6BP mocktails are no longer available :(.....the version you get now is not even close to being a refreshing beverage. Still the place is really good and the weekday lunch buffet gives you the chance to get a holistic feel ( :) ) on nice bengali lunch.....

    I have been going to this place for the last few years.In fact I am a frequent visitor to this restaurant.I go there at least once a week.The food is good especially the fishes.The ambience is tolerable though it doesen't stand in from of Esplanade.But,one thing which I have observed over the years is that the waiters have become very complacent including the manager.There is also a visible lack of courtsey.Since,I am a regular the waiters know me by face.Recently I went there with my parents.I requested for a seat for 4 in an inner enclosure which has better seats.They gave me a seat removing... read more

    This was our place of choice for dinner. My friend and I trotted up the rather narrow staircase leading to the restaurant and entered the restaurant's foyer. There we were greeted by a pleasant maitre d' who ushered us into the restaurant. Our waiter, a small smiling man, brought us the menus and we quickly ran through the options on offer. There were no nice drinks (I wanted ButterMilk or Lassi) and so we began our meal with the starter - Potato Skins with Herbs and Cheese. It was lovely. A "must-try".
