My friends and I decided to try some new cuisine and we instantly thought of mexican food.
Jalapenos is just behind Aqua Java on wood street. So, the location must be known to most.
When I entered the place I wasn't too impressed with the decor but we took a table near the glass wall and it felt cosy and nice after that.
We ordered cheese garlic bread, which is the specialty here but being a person who is not fond of cheese or butter, this was definitely a wrong pick. The garlic bread was dripping with cheese and butter and the very view made me resent eating it.
For main course we ordered pasta in white sauce and baked rice. Too much of white sauce and cheese for a day. It would have been better, had we balanced out the meal with red sauce, though the pasta was tasty. For the baked rice my friends took the top layer with cheese( yet again) and I dug into the platter and just had the rice beneath.
All in all the food was good but it became a bit too cheesy for my taste.
The dishes are moderately priced and I wouldn't mind paying another visit but this time I will order from the menu a bit more cautiously.
