Rustic, simple and flavourful, Italian cuisine seems to be capturing hearts across the country. We asked our readers to tell us which restaurant serves the best Italian food in their city and a few emerged victorious. So, read on to know more about the Best Italian Restaurants and where to find them.

Mia Cucina, Mumbai
Pizza Choriza

Pizza Choriza

The name literally means ‘my kitchen’ in Italian and when a restaurant is named that, can you be far from good food?  Mia Cucina, the winner for the Best Italian Restaurant in Mumbai is your ticket to the Trattoria of Italy and back. With a well-stocked bar and seating spread both indoors and outdoors, this restaurant is done in cosy hues of red. The menu is replete with Antipasti, Soups, Salads, Pasta and Risotto, Grills and much more. We’d recommend a Pizza Pollo e Pomodori Secchi, a lovely pizza with a subtle sauce that brings out the flavours of the cheese, tangy yet sweet sun-dried tomatoes and chicken. If you savour spice then the Pizza Choriza is for you!
La Piazza Hyatt Regency, Delhi

Pizza Margherita

When you speak about Italian restaurants, your mind immediately jumps to classy interiors, a curated wine list and cellar and more importantly, authentic Italian fare. Now, that is exactly what La Piazza at the Hyatt Regency offers. From the Insalatas, Antipasti, Zouppes to Pastas their menu is endowed with true blue Italian eats. What we loved here is the simplicity of a Pizza Margherita; a crispy thin crust laced with basic ragu, mozzarella and basil.

This little restaurant is slightly quirky and dishes out some delicious food. It’s got authentic Italian food in Namma Bangalore combined with prompt service, no wonder our patrons from Bangalore voted it as the Best Italian Restaurant. This lovely restaurant has its seating spread over the comfortable indoor arena and lovely AL fresco dining area. We love the humble Spaghetti Aglio Olio e Peperoncino; olive oil is delicately infused with herbs, garlic and chilli which is the beauty of this simple yet delectable dish.
Little Italy, Chennai
Spaghetti Bolognese

Spaghetti Bolognese

Located in Anna Nagar, this quaint restaurant, Little Italy dishes out some hearty, vegetarian-only Italian fare. It’s dimly lit, minimalistic decor and casual ambiance exudes an air of nonchalance. With a vegetarian menu that doesn’t compromise on flavors and textures, this restaurant is voted the Best Italian restaurant by our patrons. We loved the Spaghetti Bolognese and Cheese Fondue here.
Incognito, Pune
Classic Chicken Panini

Classic Chicken Panini

Incognito is voted the Best Italian Restaurant in Pune. They have eats from around the world but their mouth watering Italian dishes has a lot more to offer. From the Minestrone Soup to their Pizza Margherita, their menu is replete with delicious Italian eats. We love the Classic Chicken Panini in a fresh aromatic Ciabatta bread.
