Cringing, craving, bingeing, braving... you always have an opinion on what's hot and what's not in your city and we just love to hear it. Besides, there's no better place to satiate that itch to bitch!
This video installation not only raises the question of how TV correspondents of the allied countries experienced the dramatic days of November 1989 in Berlin. But is also answers this question through reportage from four different renowned journalists: Tom Brokaw (NBC), Brian Hanrahan (BBC), Philippe Rochot (Antenne 2) und Wjateschlaw Mostowoi (NTW). In a very special presentation by the highly- acclaimed German anchorperson Ulrich Wickert, one sees not only excerpts of this historic reportage, but also interviews with the four reporters, conducted in 2009. In these current interviews, they not only evaluate their work from a contemporary point of view and classify the Fall of the Berlin Wall taking into account the geopolitical situation of the world in 1989, but also look back on its most moving moments.
