Quite frankly before today, my general perception/knowledge about Chinese food was very close in the vicinity of zero. having heard about PING, wanted to try it out with a equally skeptical friend of mine.
What we finally came back with are some really good memories(both us go back ages in our hatred towards Chinese food) and a complete change in perception about the same.
First things first, the ambience is superb and ideal for both a family gathering as well as an outing with pals.
We started with a soup and that floored us right away. We subsequently ordered dim sums/grilled mushrooms and steamed rice with coriander veg gravy...wow...for someone who does not like rice one bit, this was a welcome change...
The hospitality is very good and the staff is very courteous. The tables are impeccably clean and that add to the general decor.
On the other side, music could have been a little more oriental for a Chinese restaurant but the the food was just too good to get distracted cos of music.
The desserts were alluring enough for the lady accompanying to drop one on her dress and re-order.
The last surprise was the CHOCOLATE PAN which is the specialty from the chef. The friend accompanying could not resist carrying 3 of these to her office as a momento.
All in all a change of heart about Chinese food and hope to PING again...

We are quite happy to hear that our food can help change your perception about Chinese cuisine. Actually, in the name of serving spicy chinese food to suit to the Indian palette, too much of deviation from the authentic chinese cooking has been done over the years. At P!ng, we aspire to present to the Bangalorean food lovers, the near-authentic chinese food that are, by the way, quite tasty and suited to the Indian palette on their own without much/any variation. And then a runner like you, needs all the nutrition, that we retain through our wok-cooking (stir-fry style of cooking). And we like that you liked our signature chocolate pan. See you soon, and again and again.
