I had been to Kaati Zone sometime back, but when I did revisit them last week, they have changed. The restaurant has been given a new make over - its a lot more interesting and colorful now. They have also introduced some new menu items like Paratha Meals and like others - they have come out with new Summer Beverages a la Masala Nimbu Paani & Chilled Lassi. I tried their Gobi Paratha Meal which was served with dal makni & yogurt along with Lassi - it was yumm and very filling. Their service has also improved over all. All in all it was a great experience for me & my friends.

Paneer and Chicken Kaathi's are to die for. For this genre of food, quick service and reasonable prices, I'll give it a 4-star.

The rolls in this place are pretty good and relatively cheap - though perhaps more expensive than other places which offer the same. My objection to the place is the amount of unnecessary garbage they produce - almost on American scales - which is appalling. The rolls are wrapped in some advertisement paper, they use a lot of paper mats and towels, they use styrofoam cups and bowls - all of which will be around in some form long after Kaati Zone is gone. So all in all I cannot recommend the place - its not economically sustainable.

For a quick bite in between some shopping, Kaati Zone offers some wallet-friendly kaati roll options. The rolls are certainly not a gourmet, melt-in-the mouth experience, but will do for that light, express lunch.
The rolls come in a unique packaging that allow for easy, non-messy eating and are customizable. Paratha options include the kaati original, the kaati lite or the kaati diet. The vegetarian filling options are aloo matter, methi paneer tikka (good), paneer jalfrazie and the mixed vegetable. The non-vegetarian filling options include the chicken tikka (good), tava chicken (reasonable non-spicy option), the egg and cheese, chicken hariyali and the mutton seekh. Extras that can be added are cheese, egg or egg white. Vada pav, chana chaat and corn cucumber chaat (good – cool and quite yummy) are also available.
Kaati Zone’s tagline is “Rolls that Rock” – and the Church Street outlet has guitars and a Connie Francis poster on the wall. The rest of the décor is very much chain-like – orange and blue sofas and chairs, red bar stools and lots of stainless steel, and the restaurant seems very popular with the college crowd. A very big plus is that it is super-clean - employees wear gloves, the mint chutney comes in covered easy-dispensing containers and the loos are sparkling.
The rolls range in price from Rs.25 to Rs.50. A meal for two is approximately Rs.200. It is open from 11 am to 10:30 pm.

These kaati wraps are the best in town and thank god it's a chain. My fave is the egg white and cheese (yes, they do a fabulous job making sure to have healthy options!), but also try the chicken hariyali and mutton seekh for non-vegetarians. Plenty of vegetarian options as well. The only thing to beware of for the more mature crowd is this tends to be a college hangout, so if that gets to you, probably not your cup of tea.
