The entrance is highly depressing ...midst of 4th block complex. The decor is extremely tacky....and the best part the open air feature is shrouded with chatai's.
The service is good and prompt...but it will be in a place where the focus is on how many tables you can turnover.
We did eat some very average food...all vegetarian I must say. Had a mild shock once the bill was presented...
This could turn out to be a good place if:
1. Reduce the number of tables....even with loud blaring music we could overhear conversation of this obviously in love couple who would have I am sure loved more space.
2. The Music just drowns out everything else...maybe a ploy to keep the noise from the heavy traffic at bay.
3. Concentrate more on food- let the foods not taste like it has come off an assembly line even if it does so - allow people to take more time...afterall you do charge enough
4. Let some fresh air in so that the restaurant can smell better and not as if Tadka has been applied to the whole restaurant.
5. Spend on decor- When I walked in the setting was discordant . The quality of decor and the loud overbearing live music made it look like a perfect dance bar ....the mumbai types.
Alas the total package feels as if Jayanagar should be grateful that atleast we have an option - earlier it was either darshini or andhra joints....
