Kailash Parbat has never disappointed me in terms of food. Yes, its quite simple with no frills attached, but the food, no matter what you order, is always enjoyable. Went their last night for dinner (actually for some paani puri :D ). We had a pitcher of masala chaas, paani-puri, diwani handi subji, some rotis and sev puri. A meal for 3 cost us about 450 bucks. Not bad eh?
Of course their chats are great and a must have but their daal-pakwaan (only available on Sundays), Indian veggies and sandwiches are delicious too.
