better to eat dirt

Lemon Grass at Phoenix has gone down hill steadily, it was once good food which made its terribly messed up service palatable.

It is at a point now where they could actually get headless chickens to run the place and you could probably have a slight improvement.

We got in around 9pm on Sunday night and were seated. The place looks like a low end tiki bar, the seating is a little uncomfortable and the tables too close together.

We ordered a gin and tonic with lime cordial & we got the drinks, sans lime cordial. The waiter said he said he would be right back with it and left the tonic unopened.

After 5 mins of trying we got someone to get us the lime cordial and it took another 5 mins to get the tonic uncorked.

Onto the tibetan momos, they were ok but the home style dipping sauce sucked as did the hot sauce they had on the table. They had flies buzzing about and one of them kamakazied into our neighbors satay.

I really wanted the paneer satay but they refused to remove the broccoli from it (how hard is it to just remove it) so that was that.

the recommendation was the HK cahsewnut and paneer which was just awful, spicy and absolutely tasteless. the green curry was ill prepared, there was no flavor whatsoever, just fire. the hakka noodles were good (sad, for a Thai joint that)

If they had gotten their act together they could easily become a fav. too late now. never going back.

damage was 800
