This is one of the few places in Bangalore that makes bruschetta the right way, not the tomato sauce /cheese slathered monstrosities they serve in most restaurants. The food is near authentic and very very tasty. I've been here almost 10 times now and never had a bad experience. The waiters are very polite and readily suggest modifications to the sauces to customize them to your taste. And the ravioli in sicilian with soya mince and extra garlic added is to die for.
It is expensive, but my experience says that cooking Italian food at home isnt cheap either. The ingredients are expensive and its very difficult to get the taste right. Its very easy to screw up and have the puttanesca at home tasting like tikka masala. Heck, this even applies to most conti restaurants in Bangalore. Most don't have a clue about italian food. Its either red sauce(spiced ketchup) or white sauce(cheese soup with corn flour). I guess these guys know they're good and this is what makes them so damn expensive.
Ask the chef for his oven roasted garlic in olive oil. Smashing.
