Ambience: I got the 2nd floor place with cozy little sofas and low tables ... looks fairly nice and chic, but I opted for the regular tables for the comfort of eating.
Service: Somewhat slow. Waiter gave me wrong change at end and I had to correct him. Staff is not very knowledgeable about proper way of serving Italian food ... heck .. there wasn't even fresh grated pepper or parmezano cheese (the essences of Italian dining).
Food: I ordered a coke, an eggplant parmigiana, caesar salad and Tiramasu for desert. Set me back a total of Rs 700/- (that's just for me alone). The food was fairly good but it doesn't compare to even the regular fare olive-gardens or johnny carinos that you find in the US everywhere. There was no pasta with the parmigiana (which I thought was a normal thing to expect). The bread served was just regular american breakfast bread rather than garlic bread that you might expect at a good italian restaurant. No butter or olive oil or roasted garlic bits or anything like that with the bread.
The biggest letdown was that when I spend Rs 700/- I expect to come out of there with a full stomach. That didn't happen. The portions were really small (ok, I wear an XL shirt, but still .... ).
My take on this place: OVERPRICED for the ambience/food-quality that you get. There are other better choices out there. You might want to go here just once to test it out.
