Keeps me going back always!

This would be the kind of place I'd like to frequent on a regular basis. I wish there were more like these around! I am surprised no one has come up with reviews for this place before.

When it opened 3 years ago, infinitea as the name suggests, served infinite tea... you could get tea and only tea there albeit different varieties of it. For tea lovers, this was bliss. For me, it was not. Especially since, at that time, the waiter over there refused to give me sugar to go with the tea. I think he was inducting me to the tea culture. But I was deeply offended by that and resolved not to step inside the place ever again!

My resolution did not last for long. I used to pass by Cunningham Road very often and Infinitea always seemed to beckon me. Another fine day, and I decided to try out this tea bar again. I was quite pleasantly surprised to see the eloquent food menu they had added. It fit in quite nicely with the settings. The menu is quite cosmopolitan as is the crowd that frequents the place.

The ambience is also pretty good. During day time, there's hardly any need for artificial lighting, cos they have the daylight streaming in through the windows in one wall. During the night, the lighting is done just right with soft yellow lighting. Not too bright, not too dark. The seating - you have an option with the high table & chairs kind of seating near the entrance, to two seaters and some cosy couches which are almost always occupied.

You can find momos nestled in the menu besides chicken cacciatore and baked fish. I have tried almost everything on the menu and I still keep going there for more. The college/young crowd over there seem to gobbling up momos perpetually. I agree with them. They are quite yummy... The rest of the food, is served as in most Euro restaurants. no rice with one side order of curry here. It all comes together, very artistically arranged and at very affordable prices.

They serve breakfast too, which I did try out once. But this I was not very impressed with. I was expecting something like an IHOP breakie. But nope, that wasn't even good enough to lick the IHOP shoes. And pretty expensive too. So I don't go for the breakfast anymore. But anyother time is always the best time to go there!

My picks - steamed momos both chicken and veg are great, cubbon fish, baked fish, blackened fish, greek fish, tiramisu, frozen mud something...
