This quaint place on Castle Street (close to Fuga and Olive Beach) is the next best thing to being in Korea!
Although I'm no expert on Korean cuisine, I can definitely gauge good food from average and bad food - and this place is just perfect. Start with a traditional jasmine tea with some optional honey. Or try the cream of mushroom soup (which my friend recommends as the best she's ever had).
Placing an order is easy - the menu is replete with pictures and desciptions of all the items, so you know what to expect. I would recommend the fish items (sorry don't remember any names!) and there's some good options for vegetarians too, surprisingly. Once you order, the waiter will get you a wide range of 'kim chi' - small portions / starters, which by themselves are amazing. Especially the tiny baked potatoes which you dip in honey. Delectable.
They don't let you go without a complimentary dessert - which is usually a sweet fruit salad or some tea.
The ambiance is warm and friendly - articulate silverware, bamboo shoots in the backdrop and beautiful chopsticks!
