In the wake of the recent judgement passed by the Supreme Court of India, regarding the restaurants serving alcohol within 500 metres of the highway, we'd suggest that you call the restaurants to ensure whether they serve alcohol before you visit. Thank you.
Bukhara is one over hyped place in Delhi . It's famous for its dal makhni which is incomparable no doubt ,This place made famous when Barack Obama visited this restaurant.very expensive food for India but worth visiting once. We choose the stuffed peppers which were cooked like the meat tandoori style such a wonderful flavour to the peppers. Also seafood and breads were very good. Waiting is only problem here
So this one was on my bucket list since long. They did not serve any cutlery. We ordered the paneer tikka which was just simply out of this world! The paneer was soft yet firm-perfectly flavored, not too spicy, yet lots of flavors. We ordered the now famous dal makhani- it was all very very yum. It was apparent that the dal was made in a different way. It wasn't too spicy yet flavorful , which seemed to be their USP. Yes we saw pads of foreigners, to whom the restaurant largely caters to. Their Bukhara special naan, was simply a large sized naan, which I wish the server had warned us about before. I would have loved to try some kulcha or roti. Nonetheless a very good meal. Worth the price? Maybe not for us Indians, but totally get why the foreigners rave about the food here.
